Valor Dimension will change the way you view fuel effect electric fires forever, offering you an unrivalled degree of realism. It gives customers the warmth, comfort and visual appeal of a real fire and all the benefits of electric – including the economy, simplicity of installation and all year-round ease of use.

The Valor Dimension electric fire range has redefined the electric market for fuel effect fires. Using cutting edge technology, Valor have created a slim and compact design with an unbelievable full depth fuel bed; a truly unique offering within the fireplace market. With stunning designs, the Valor Dimension range provides convenience and warmth economically, to meet the needs of today’s discerning consumer. This is all backed by the quality, reliability and peace of mind one would ordinarily expect from Valor the leading name in home heating.

Valor Fires has been bringing new design ideas and technological advances to people since 1890 and as an integral part of Baxi Heating UK, is a clear example of a Baxi Group company ‘delivering the spark’. The Valor Dimension range is one of the most exciting innovations yet. It really is a revolution in fire technology.

Why Choose Electric?

Gas is the traditional source of fuel for domestic fires. Gas fires have been the preferred option due to availability of fuel supply, the prevalence of chimneys within homes, running cost and appearance. Gas fires offer high heat outputs, and with historically low gas prices were economical to run.

However, in recent years electric fires have become more and more popular. The rise in popularity is in some part due to new build houses and high rise flats/ apartments not having chimneys or flues, resulting in difficulties in specifying and installing traditional gas fires. In addition, the number of homes with central heating installed is greater than ever so fires are used as a top up during cold spells or as a design feature rather than a primary heat source, as a result high heat outputs have become less important. Furthermore, the cost of gas has risen faster than the cost of electricity, meaning running a gas fire is less economical but is still slightly cheaper than running an electric fire for the same heat outputs. Electric fires however enable the flame effect to be used without heat, therefore facilitating all year round usage.

Until now, the main drawback with electric fires has been the failure to unite the flame effect and fuel effect to create the combined effect of a real fire. More often the fuel effect merely sits in front of a flame effect picture, thus creating an unconvincing experience.

This has all changed though, with the introduction of the Valor Dimension electric fire range.

The Dimension Technology

Valor took time to discover exactly what consumers needed from an electric fire. Research indicated there are three main indicators for real fire: glow, so that the fire communicates warmth; flame effect, both for authentic colour and believable movement; and fuel effect depth – Valor fires call these there ‘triggers of realism’. And although Valor know our electric fires are not real, have have given the Valor Dimension all the key elements of a real fire. A unique offering in the market place.

Using patented, cutting edge technology, Valor have created a convincing flame effect that is part of a visually real fuelbed. The impression of depth is comparable to deep-bed fires– even though the fire itself is a highly practical unit that can fit into most fireplaces.

The Dimension Effect

Valor Dimension fires offer an unrivalled degree of realism, with all the warmth, comfort and visual appeal of a real fire and all the benefits of electric. It’s almost impossible to believe that something so slim and compact can look so completely lifelike.

Glow

The colours – deep oranges, red and yellow – are incredibly realistic and naturally associated with an established real fire.

Flame effect

The gentle flickering flames emanate from the heart of the fuel effect, deep within the fire itself. They work in conjunction with the fuelbed to build the impression of an established real fire.

Depth

Valor Dimension fires give the impression of having amazing depth, just like a real fire. Focal depth is nearly double the fire’s actual depth, delivering an utterly realistic fire while remaining slim enough to suit electric installations.

The Valor Dimension electric fire range sold at fires2u.com includes the following fires and start at as little as £215 including VAT and Delivery.

Dimplex Electric Fires – Are the Future

Dimplex electric fires have many energy saving benefits which not only save you money but will reduce your carbon emissions as well. Unlike a gas fire, the ‘flames’ on a Dimplex electric fire can be used independently of the heat, so you can still enjoy the cosiness of the flames on dark mild evenings or when the central heating is on, without overheating and for only around 2p an hour.
When you do require heating, most models feature half heat settings so you can reduce the amount of energy used and some also feature thermostats for maximum comfort and efficiency.

All Dimplex fires are also 100% efficient at point of use, and unlike virtually all gas fires, waste no heat up the chimney or flue. Selected fires such as the Cheriton LED electric fire and electric suites such as the Dillon LED electric suite now feature LED lamps to further reduce
running costs over conventional and compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs. With LEDs, the total energy consumption in effect only setting is between 14 and 18 watts per hour, depending on model, equating to an annual cost of around £2 per annum. LED lamps also have an exceptionally long lifespan – the lamps in our LE range of fires are expected to last 100,000 hours or almost 55 years.

Fires2u.com currently sell the complete range of Dimplex Electric fires from the freestanding Yeominster from just £84, to the remote controlled and ever popular Exbury electric fire to the stunning Living Art 191 which looks complete in any contemporary setting.
